Time available: All day (until 5am the next day) Redd is the untrustworthy art dealer of the Animal Crossing world, and following the 1.2.0 update he has started appearing randomly at a rocky part of each island (usually at the back of the island, to stay out of Nook's sight. Unfortunately, Redd's arrivals are patchy at best. 1 Event calendar 2 Nook Shopping events In addition to the events listed above, Nook Shopping will mark other holidays and festivals by offering special items for sale for a limited time. A letter is delivered to the player every month notifying them that new items are in stock. Warcraft download in android. These seasonal items are available to order in both hemispheres on the dates given. Nintendo released the trailer for the next Animal Crossing: New Horizons update on Tuesday, and players have a ton of new content to look forward to. In addition to events for American Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve, there are also new character customization options, new reactions, new items, increased storage and - perhaps most important - the ability to transfer save data to another.
Nature Day, May Day, and Museum Day have come and gone in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. The first events brought two new merchants to your island and a few bonuses that you can still learn more about in our Nature Day guide, though some things the holiday offered (like the bonus Nook Miles for special activities) are now over. The May Day event offered up a fun prize for completing a special May Day maze. But even if you missed these events, there are still more planned for the near future, as well.
You can see what other events Nintendo has planned for Animal Crossing: New Horizons through the month below, plus which new features and visitors they bring. Here's when each one starts and what we know about it so far. We'll update this list as more events are announced.
Nature Day (Ended)
Animal Crossing Next Day
Dates: April 23 - May 4
The one event we already knew was coming, thanks to a Nintendo Direct mini broadcast, was a celebration of Earth Day, which takes place a day earlier on April 22. Specific details and dates hadn't been shared previously except that Leif would return in some capacity. Nature Day began on April 23, and saw special Nook Miles+ objectives that involve planting trees, watering flowers, and taking advantage of a new feature--the ability to plant shrubs. The event officially ended on May 4.
May Day Tour (Ended)
Dates: May 1-7
During this week-long event, beginning May 1, players got a one-time ticket--the May Day Ticket--to head out on a May Day Tour from the airport. The location was different from the usual Mystery Tour deserted islands and included a hedge maze with a prize and a special cameo at the end. We talk more about the prize and the cameo in our May Day maze guide, but if you missed it, there's always next year!
International Museum Day (Ended)
Dates: May 18-31
The museum received an expansion for art as part of a New Horizons update that brings back returning character Redd, who now makes periodic appearances in the game. In May, there was a Stamp Rally event that equipped you with a stamp card that you could fill out by browsing the fish, insects, and fossils you've collected. Collecting stamps leads to a reward!
Wedding Season (Ongoing)
Dates: June 1-30
During June, you can visit Harv's island to encounter Reese and Cyrus, a married couple and another returning set of characters from the series' past. Given the photography-themed nature of Harv's island, you'll be decorating a studio and taking anniversary photos. Rewards include 'wedding-themed items.' (This wouldn't be the first time the game helped facilitate a wedding of some sort.)
Animal Crossing: New Horizons News And Guides
As Animal Crossing works in real time, learning the day reset time is useful to get in any last minute activities before the next one begins.
Since many constructions won't be completed until the next day, this means you can decide how much time you want to put in to pay off a house loan, or pick up fossils or tick off your daily activities which will reset the next day - which we've outlined in a daily checklist on this page.
On this page:
What time does the day reset in Animal Crossing: New Horizons?
In Animal Crossing, the day will reset at 5am. This means, unlike in the real world, you have an extra few hours after midnight rolls around to get any daily activities sorted.
It's worth noting not everything on the island is available 24 hours. For example, though Resident Services and the Museum will be open around the clock, many shops will close overnight (in Nook's Cranny's instance, this is 10pm, before opening again at 8am).
We obviously recommend everyone prioritise sleep over cramming in a last minute Animal Crossing session to meet a deadline - there's no rush after all! - but knowing how long you can play for before the next day arrives is good to know if you can't sleep, are working a night shift, and so on.
New to Animal Crossing? Ps3 gamecube emulator download. Our Animal Crossing New Horizons tips can help with the basics. From the off, there's fish and bugs to catch, flowers and fruit to grow with Leif selling seeds, villagers to add or remove and tools such as the new ladder and vaulting pole to collect. Once you have settled in, you'll want to be making as many Bells as possible, start collecting K.K. Slider songs and work on your island star rating, increase your HHA ranking, incorporate Feng Shui into your room design and acquiring kitchen furniture. You can also buy fake art from Redd, use the Dream Suite and island backup.

Daily activity checklist for Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Every day, it's worth prioritising a number of activities which reset or change by the time the next one rolls around.
Some of these allow you to maximise the number of resources - such as Iron Nuggets and Gold Nuggets - you can find in a given day.
Here's what's worth doing every day in Animal Crossing: New Horizons:
Hit all the rocks with your Shovel
Dig up all the fossils (you don't need to assess them right away if you don't have time)
Dig up the glowing crack in the ground (and plant a money bag in its place to grow a money tree)
Check the Nook Miles ATM for free daily Miles
Check the recycle bin for free items
Check Turnip prices at Nook's Cranny (refreshes twice daily - before and after 12pm)
Visit stores at Nook's Cranny and the ATM to see what's new on sale
Complete the five double Nook Miles+ quests
Chop each tree with a flimsy or stone axe for three wood materials per tree (time intensive!)
Shake every tree for free furniture and wasp nests (time intensive!)
..and water any plants you have growing if it's not raining
That's quite a lot to do each day! You obviously don't have to do them all - but hopefully it gives you an idea of what resets around the island so you can priortise.
Animal Crossing Lost Item Next Day
It's worth checking the ATM daily - one for the free Nook Miles, the other for what's new on sale.
When Is Animal Crossing Next Day
If you only have, say 15 minutes to play, the things we'd recommend are hitting each rock, digging up the fossils, planting money in the glowing crack, and checking the Nook Miles ATM. These tasks should give you the most benefit, and hopefully profit, in a short amount of time.
